Who We Are
We are an eco friendly village located in Kitabi sector, Nyamagabe district, Southern province in one kilometer from the eastern entrance of Nyungwe National Park. Our ecovillage is interested in eco lodging, ecotourism, ecosystem restoration, climate smart agriculture, capacity building, biodiversity conservation, community development, and biological research.
Our Focused Activities
Controlling Buffer zone
Removing Invasive trees species and replacing with indigenous plant, and educating people around buffer zone to reduce poaching.
Youth Engagment in Conservation
We train and motivate youth to sustain the environment by creating smal enterprise from the products around them.
Community Health Engagement
We work with families to train and educate them to make healthy and balanced diets where we take to time and visit some families to show them how to make it well.
